How Climbers’ Sensation of Recreation Impact and Recreation Experience Affect Their Environmental Attitudes and Environmentally Responsible Behaviors: A Case of Jiaming Lake National Trail

The outbreak of COVID-19 has significantly increased the number climbers who enter reserve areas and use mountain houses compared with same period in 2019. Mountaineering become a popular activity causing forest managers to pay more attention tourist environmentally responsible behavior (ERB) which is key maintain land sustainable management. Therefore, purpose this study explore influence climbers’ sensations recreation impact, experience, environmental attitudes on ERB Jiaming Lake National Trail. Questionnaires were distributed online through Facebook fans social network. A total 577 valid questionnaires received July 2021, we used SPSS20.0 SmartPLS3.3.9 software analyze returned questionnaires. research found: 1. experience positive significant impact both ERB. 2. recreational directly affects negative consequences. 3. partial mediating effect relationship between attitudes; 4. Environmental have full mediation Our findings indicate that better hikers increase their attitude However, contradictory it reduces indirectly worsens hikers’ attitude.
